Trethowans join the County Court Business Centre
We are pleased to announce that the Commercial Recoveries team at Trethowans are now County Court Business Centre (CCBC) users.
What is the County Court Business Centre (CCBC)?
The CCBC is a centre of the County Court of England and Wales created to deal with claims by the use of various electronic media. Unlike other County Court centres the CCBC does not physically hear cases. If any case might require a hearing it is transferred to another centre.
How does using the CCBC benefit you?
Benefits of the CCBC to clients of Trethowans include:
- The ability to issue claims for our clients electronically, reducing waiting times for the issue of a claim from an average of 6 weeks to 48 hours.
- Claims are processed more quickly and without the need to file documentation to accompany the claim form, saving time and money.
- CCBC offers its users a chance to consider whether to progress with a defended claim before the claim is allocated, allowing a pause to consider prospects and economics before committing to preparation for trial and the associated time and costs.
This advancement is part of the Commercial Recoveries team strategic goals to provide the best possible recoveries service, making use of the technology available to support efficiencies and innovative ways of helping our clients meet their debt recovery needs.
