Trethowans is pleased to announce two significant professional achievements within its Private Client team, reflecting the firm’s continued commitment to excellence in its private client offering.

Mihiri Gajraj, Partner and Head of Private Client, has been appointed as a Panel Deputy by the Office of the Public Guardian. This important role is reserved for experienced professionals entrusted to act as deputies for individuals who lack mental capacity and have no one else suitable to act on their behalf. Mihiri’s appointment recognises her deep expertise and dedication to supporting vulnerable clients with compassion and integrity.

In addition, Leyla Whitlingum, Partner and Head of the Private Client team in Winchester, has been elected to the STEP England & Wales Regional Committee as representative for the South. STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) is the leading global professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts and estates. Leyla’s election to the committee highlights her respected standing in the profession and her commitment to shaping best practice across the industry.

These appointments underscore Trethowans’ reputation for excellence in private client services and its team’s active contribution to the wider legal community.
