Candid Divorce Lawyer podcast competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of Trethowans LLP (‘Trethowans’).
  2. The competition opens on 24 March 2026 and closes at midnight on 30 April 2026. Entries received after this date won’t be included. Any entry which doesn’t comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
  3. Entrants must submit competition entries using the competition form at www.candiddivorcelawyer.com. One entry is allowed per episode.
  4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  5. By entering each entrant warrants that:
    a. use of the information in your entry by Trethowans in accordance with these terms and conditions will not require Trethowans to pay a fee or royalty
    b. any linked entry information does not infringe the rights of anyone else and does not contain anything unlawful (e.g. obscene or defamatory)
    c. you consent to take part in the competition, and for your personal data to be used in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  6. A winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries properly submitted by the closing date.
  7. The chosen winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will receive a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser RRP £119.95.
  8. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
  9. The winner will be notified via the email address provided by the winner when submitting their entry within 7 days of the closing date. The notification to the winner will come from Trethowans. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, Trethowans reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  10. The notification will include information about how to collect or arrange delivery of the prize.
  11. By entering each entrant consents to allow the use of their name during the competition, including to announce the winner, on Trethowans and Candid Divorce Lawyer LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok social media pages. By entering, each entrant also consents to allow the use of their name as part of any promotional activity, including and without limitation, to having their name and entry published in connection with Trethowans on the Trethowans website (www.trethowans.com), and on Trethowans and Candid Divorce Lawyer LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok social media pages, or any other Trethowans LLP publication. After winners have been announced, if entrants object to the use of their name and competition entry as part of the promotional activity they must let Trethowans know in writing by emailing [email protected].
  12. Entrants acknowledge Trethowans is not obliged to promote the entries in the ways or media described above.
  13. Trethowans reserves the right to remove any information relating to a competition entry including from its website or social media accounts without notice before or after the competition closing date.
  14. Trethowans does not accept responsibility for any loss resulting from a technical fault, incomplete, illegible or damaged entries.
  15. By entering entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material relating to this competition. Unless expressly stated otherwise, in the event of conflict between any promotional material and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  16. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or any other social network.
  17. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received by Trethowans for whatever reason.
  18. Trethowans shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  19. Trethowans reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  20. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
