Trethowans hosts complimentary “New Beginnings” workshop series to support those facing divorce or separation

Following the success of previous New Beginnings workshops, Trethowans is pleased to announce the return these complimentary, supportive events designed for individuals navigating the challenges of divorce or separation. The first workshop will take place on 9 October 2025 at The Pump House, Winchester, followed by a second on 12 November 2025 at The NICI, Bournemouth.

These workshops offer a safe and informative space for attendees to gain practical tools and emotional support to help themselves and their children during a time of transition. The sessions are designed to promote emotional wellbeing, improve self-esteem and provide clarity on legal and financial matters.

This year’s workshops will feature four expert-led sessions throughout the morning, followed by lunch. Attendees will benefit from the guidance of:

  1. Trethowans’ family lawyers, Our Family Lawyers understand that navigating family issues can be one of the most challenging times in your life They will be on hand for any questions you may have in relation to separation and divorce.
  2. Sarah Cole, Family Therapist and co-founder of the Family Conflict Clinic, who will share strategies for developing effective co-parenting relationships and helping children express and manage their emotions.
  3. Elinor Harvey, Accredited Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist and Divorce Coach, who will focus on personal wellbeing and offer tools for making positive steps forward post-separation.
  4. Cheryl Bowden, Chartered Financial Planner, Devin Smith, Chartered Financial Planner and Melanie Wicks, Financial Planner will break down complex financial issues into clear, manageable information so you can feel confident discussing settlements.
