On Tuesday 3 March we hosted an interactive webinar with John Allcock, Fraud Awareness Analyst at NatWest, who guided us through password security, sharing login details, internal and supplier payment requests, smishing (fraudulent text messages), bank impersonation phone calls and AI voice cloning demonstration.

The session highlighted how small, well‑intentioned actions can quickly lead to serious consequences if risks go unnoticed.

John joined NatWest Group Plc in 2007 learning various processes at the Corporate service centre. John then became a Commercial Assistant Relationship Manager in May 2015 and joined the Fraud Prevention team in November 2021. John’s passion is to help & serve customers and takes great pride in being able to give customers fraud prevention advice so they can help protect themselves.
