Play to the Crowd announces new strategic partnership with Trethowans

Play to the Crowd, the arts and education charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair and Playmakers, has announced Trethowans as the Strategic Partner for Theatre Royal Winchester.

This multi-year agreement sees Trethowans supporting the Winchester based charity in its mission to delight and unite their community, helping to create a vibrant city in which to work, live and play.

Deryck Newland, Chief Executive of Play to the Crowd comments “We are hugely grateful to the team at Trethowans for their investment in us. The power of live performance should never be underestimated in its ability to create happy and healthy communities. Trethowans generous support allows us to continue to bring live performance to Winchester and in particular to the magical Theatre Royal Winchester.”

Theatre Royal Winchester presents a diverse programme each year, presenting over 320 performances to over 74,000 people – from traditional plays to new-writing, music to comedy, family shows to talks as well as providing a platform for many local community groups.
