Trethowans celebrates official opening of new Poole office
Trethowans is celebrating the official opening of its new 5,000 sq ft Poole office at Merchants House on Vanguard Road. The well-established business named in The Times Best Law Firms, also has premises in Bournemouth, Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester and London and offers a wide range of legal services for businesses and individuals.
The office was officially opened by Poole’s Mayor, Councillor Julie Bagwell, which included a tour of the offices and celebratory drinks with Trethowans’ employees.
Councillor Julie Bagwell said: “It’s been a great pleasure opening the Trethowans office today. The firm provides exceptional support for businesses and individuals alike within our community, so what better place to call home than the landmark Merchants House building? The office is in a central location and offers a modern working environment. The staff have been a delight to meet.”
Mike Watson, Trethowans’ managing partner, said: “This is a really exciting step for us, and one that demonstrates our commitment to the Dorset community with two large offices in Bournemouth and Poole. We were delighted to have the Mayor as one of our first visitors, and now that we have officially moved in we’re looking forward to welcoming our clients and continuing to grow our services in the region.”
The new Poole office will be headed up jointly by Kimberley Davies, partner in the Family team and James Braund, partner in Personal Injury, and is being opened at a time when the firm is seeing continuing rapid growth and unprecedented demand for its services. The move is combined with a recruitment drive for both the Bournemouth office and the new Poole office with vacancies in all departments including Commercial Property, Private Client, Corporate, Residential Property, Commercial Litigation and Personal Injury.
