Notable work highlights
- Assisting and advising an individual client through each stage of a complex grievance procedure in relation to disability discrimination, resulting in a generous settlement.
- Negotiating a director exit from a family-run business in the context of an acrimonious divorce.
- Supporting our corporate client in defending a provision of services complaint. This related to alleged gender reassignment discrimination and an alleged GDPR breach. Despite exceptionally aggressive correspondence and threats of litigation and damage to key client relationships, this ended with no claim or settlement.
- Assisting a charity with each stage of a high-risk exit of an employee with over 30 years’ service and occupancy of charity premises. This resulted in no claim or settlement.
- Providing employment due diligence support to a corporate team client in the acquisition of a business. Supporting the client in numerous high-risk redundancies together with negotiating settlements agreements for multiple exiting employees following a TUPE/ business transfer.
