In a recent expansion to our Salisbury office, we are celebrating an internal senior-level promotion as well as four new additions to its legal team.

Senior associate Jenni Wicheard, who has worked in the commercial property team since qualifying in 2012, has been promoted to Partner. Jenni will now head up the Salisbury commercial property team as well as managing her own caseload of complex commercial property matters on behalf of businesses, pensions schemes and individuals.

The promotion comes just after Trethowans onboarded two new recruits to its private client team in Salisbury, as well as making new additions to its family law and residential property teams.

Bolstering the private client team is associate solicitor Bernadette Bendall. With over eight years’ experience working for well-known local and city practices, Bernadette has gained a wealth of expert knowledge relating to private client matters such as wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning issues.

Paralegal Kerry-Anne Pease closely followed Bernadette to assist with the private client team’s busy caseload.

Newly qualified solicitor, James Looi, joined the family law team after the recent completion of his training contract with a boutique family firm in Hampshire.

In addition, Charlotte Carroll, joins the Residential New Build team as conveyancing assistant and crucially, acting as liaison with developer referrers.

As well as Trethowans’ recent expansion, they are continuing their recruitment drive with several vacancies in the Salisbury office and further roles available across their offices in Winchester, Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton.

Mike Watson, Trethowans’ managing partner, added: “This really is an exciting time for us. We have built up a great presence in Wiltshire over the years and we’re looking forward to celebrating the continued success and growth of our services.”
