Trethowans have announced their sponsorship of the Hares of Hampshire public art exhibition, which comes to Winchester in 2022 and is brought to you by The Murray Parish Trust.

Trethowans will be sponsoring a Hare sculpture in the new and exciting public art event that will bound across the great city of Winchester in the summer of 2022. For ten weeks, Winchester streets, parks and public spaces will be brought to life with the exhibition of magnificent hares. Each giant sculpture will be individually designed and beautifully created, showcasing the wealth of artistic talent the county has to offer – while positively contributing to the economic, cultural and social life of the area.

This will be the biggest art event that Winchester has ever seen, creating a free, fun, family-friendly trail of discovery for everyone to enjoy whilst exploring our great city. This is an opportunity for locals and visitors to be inspired, get creative and celebrate the history and culture of Winchester.

Emma Wilders-Pratt, Partner and Head of Trethowans’ Winchester office, said: “We are pleased to once again support The Murray Parish Trust and their fantastic work for children’s emergency services. Trethowans are proud to be part of the Winchester community and we can’t wait to see the hares hop into the city for everyone to enjoy.”

Sarah Parish, Founder of The Murray Parish Trust, commented: “We are so thrilled to have Trethowans join us as one of our first Hares of Hampshire sponsors. They have been consistently supportive of The Murray Parish Trust and we’re hugely grateful to them for hopping on board!”

Trethowans recently opened a new 2,000 square foot office on Jewry Street in Winchester to accommodate growing business demands.
