As a result, Zach has a strong understanding of pension property requirements and can guide clients through this process, ensuring that their scheme’s property dealings remain compliant with current HMRC regulations.

Notable work highlights

  • Zach acted for a pension scheme in the purchase of premises to be redeveloped as the new offices for the underlying client’s expanding business. The redevelopment comprised of a combination of both landlord and tenant alterations and works. Zach prepared the necessary documentation to ensure that the works could proceed simultaneously, and that the arrangement was HMRC compliant for pension scheme purposes;
  • Zach acted for a client in the purchase of a mixed-use investment property in a prominent location in Bath city centre. The project required extensive due diligence of both the commercial ground floor units and the residential flats above;
  • Zach acted for a client in the purchase of an investment property occupied by a well-known supermarket chain which also possessed future development potential. The large site contained several complex title issues which had to be resolved within a short exclusivity period. The client was advised on both the continuing retail use and potential considerations for future redevelopment which required a collaborative approach with the client’s appointed surveyor. Exchange was achieved within 15 working days of instruction.
