As a solicitor in the Agricultural & Rural Property team, Dominic advises rural landowners and business on both agricultural and development matters. He has experience with a wide variety of property transactions ranging from option and promotion agreements to buying, selling and refinancing rural land.
Notable work highlights
- Assisting on an £8.5 million sale of strategic land to Homes England, involving a sale contract, transfer, farm business tenancy and pre-emption agreement.
- Drafting collaboration and licence agreement in connection with a nature recovery programme on a 1,200 acre landed estate.
- Assisting on a refinancing of 440 acres of agricultural land to secure borrowing of £6.2 million, simultaneously purchasing a listed cottage and entering an option to lease for a solar farm and battery storage on 95 acres of the land.
