Isobel is a Solicitor in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team based in the Poole office in Dorset. Isobel deals with all aspects of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims, including, but not limited to, Road Traffic Accidents, employers’ liability claims, public liability claims, delay in diagnosis claims, birth injuries and claims involving incorrect/substandard treatment.
As well as running her own caseload, Isobel also works extensively on senior colleagues’ high value cases, gaining valuable experience in brain, spinal, catastrophic injury, and significant value/complex clinical negligence work.
Isobel completed her LLB (Hons) Law Degree in 2022 at Bournemouth University. She then went on to study her Legal Practice Course with Masters (LLM) at Bournemouth University, whilst working as a Paralegal at Trethowans. She ultimately qualified as a Solicitor in May 2025.
Notable work highlights
- Assisted in a Personal Injury claim arising from a Road Traffic Accident in which the Claimant sustained serious injuries. The claim involved various medical experts, with a significant settlement being achieved which made provision for ongoing loss of earnings and care.
- Assisting in settling a Clinical Negligence claim against a GP for failing to inform the Claimant of the results of her blood tests, which indicated Coeliac Disease. This ultimately led to a 10-year delay in diagnosis of the Claimant’s Coeliac Disease.
- Successfully acting on behalf of a client who had been injured when cycling home from work, causing multiple orthopaedic injuries.
