I am a solicitor in the Poole Private Client team. I qualified as a solicitor in January 2020 after completing my training with another local firm. I am experienced at advising clients in relation to their Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Planning. I also deal with applications for Probate and Estate Administration.
Whilst undertaking my Legal Practice Course I was honoured to receive the Dorset Magistrates Award for Excellence in Advocacy.
Areas of Expertise
I often assist clients who require extra planning in their Wills, for example couples in second marriages or with children from previous relationships to ensure that their respective children will receive their parent’s assets without difficulty.
I advise clients on the importance of planning for future care, how this could impact their Estate and help them to structure their Wills to ensure their home is protected.
I also have experience drafting Wills to include Trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries whereby a beneficiary can inherit without affecting their entitlement to means-tested benefits.
I deal with applications for Probate and Letters of Administration and have administered small and medium sized Estates on behalf of my Executor clients. I advise on post death variations to Wills and administration of Will Trusts.
I often arrange Lasting Powers of Attorney for clients and register the old style Enduring Powers of Attorney where appropriate.
Away from the office
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I often travel back to Lisbon to see my ever-increasing family – I currently have 14 cousins just on my mothers side!
