Mark is a Partner, supporting the Commercial Litigation team and the Restructuring & Insolvency team. He has more than 25 years’ experience advising on a wide range of disputes, acting for major UK and international corporates, private companies, insolvency practitioners and individuals.

Mark has significant experience in pursuing claims in professional negligence, and has successfully managed claims against solicitors, surveyors, architects, accountants, insurance brokers and others in the financial sector.

Mark has a deep knowledge of all matters covered by insolvency legislation and company law, and he advises companies, individuals, creditors, debtors, lenders, borrowers, and all other insolvency stakeholders and professionals on contentious issues.

Mark began his career in the City before moving to the south coast in 2004, becoming a senior equity partner at a large regional law firm. He joined Trethowans in 2024.

Mark is also a qualified Business Coach and enjoys working with directors to develop the structure of their business and the confidence to achieve their goals.

• Significant recoveries for victims of negligence in respect of tax avoidance schemes
