Emma is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department having joined Trethowans in October 2025.
Emma is known for her honest and direct approach to litigation, which has led to successful outcomes for clients whether through negotiated settlements or at Court. Emma has acted for a broad range of clients, including private individuals and companies, allowing her to develop legal acknowledge across a range of disputes.
She understands the challenges clients face during litigation and recognise the value and benefit of Mediation and/or Alternative Dispute Resolution.

- Assisting a Partner with a complex business partner dispute, involving Possession proceedings, forensic accounting, bridging finance and a jointly owned business property.
- Acting for a large client in enforcing Contracts and Personal Guarantees against Company Directors.
