Graeme is a highly experienced construction law solicitor with over 40 years’ experience gained both in house and in private practice. He has worked extensively across the UK and Europe, advising developers, funders, contractors and consultants on a range of construction projects.
Graeme is highly skilled in drafting and negotiating the full suite of documentation required for construction projects. This includes building contracts and sub-contracts, development agreements, collateral warranties, professional appointments, performance bonds, and guarantees. His detailed knowledge of construction law ensures that clients receive robust, commercially sound advice tailored to the specific needs of each project.
Graeme began his career as European General Counsel at the European Head Office of Shimizu Corporation, a multi-national Japanese construction company. He later led the Construction Law Group at a leading Thames Valley law firm.
Graeme’s recent work includes the construction law aspects of the disposal of a multi-million-pound office development in the City of London.
