Acting as an independent administrator/trustee in contested probate/trust matters and finding solutions to bring the matters to a conclusion despite the issues between the beneficiaries.
Advising clients on how to mitigate their tax liabilities including the use of deeds of variation, ensuring clients are using all their exemptions, the use of trusts and tax-efficient wills. One notable case involved tax savings of over £350,000 every ten years for the client.
Succession planning for family businesses including farming business.
Acting as a professional executor, trustee, deputy and attorney. As a deputy this includes acting for those who have received significant personal injury settlements.
